Year 1 / 2 – Willow Class
Hello and welcome to Willow Class
We are so excited to be working hard, having fun and making lots of wonderful memories! In our class we like learning in lots of different ways; writing, drawing, acting, investigating and exploring in our teams!
Below explains and shows what we are/have been learning in our fabulous class.
Please take a look and don’t forget – if you have any questions please ask.
Reading –
Every child will have their book changed weekly. Please make sure your child brings their reading book and RWI phonic book to school everyday in their book bag so that we can listen to them read.
20 reads Challenge –
Every time you read with your child make sure you record it on Marvellous Me. This can be their school books, books at home, magazines ect. At the end of each half term, every child who has read 20 books will be able to take part in a class treat!
PE –
Currently our PE days are Thursdays and Fridays. Please remember to send your child with their PE kit and ensure any jewellery is removed. You are welcome to leave your child’s PE kit at school.
