A truly amazing experience! The children were abuzz with excitement to share new facts they learnt, we even saw the eagle owl fly! ‘This owl has talons.’ ‘not all owls are nocturnal, some come out at teatime.’ ‘The barn owls feathers are the softest’ ‘the tawny owl eats mice’ 🦉
What an amazing way to follow our text focus of ‘Owl babies’ yesterday in Nursery. We could not contain our excitement whilst holding the feathery owls. The owl named ‘Cheeky Charlie‘ was definitely a class favourite 🦉#EYFS #TVA #Nursery
This morning we were treated to another ‘my favourite book’ assembly from Mrs Masoud! We loved sharing her favourite story ‘Peace at last’ by Jill Murphy. The children loved joining in with ‘oh no, I can’t stand this!’ 📚#readingforpleasure #loveofreading @TownvilleIS
Reception enjoyed a marvellous afternoon treat in forest school for filling our attendance star jar! We were so excited to get involved with mud painting, leaf printing with mallets, using the bow saw and of course hot chocolate around the fire 🔥🍃 @TownvilleIS
