Year 2 – Elm Class
Hello and welcome to Elm Class
In Year 2 we are excited to be working hard, developing our knowledge and growing in our final year at Infants school! In our class we like learning in lots of different ways using: exciting writing, mathematical skills, using reasoning skills, investigating and exploring in our teams!
Below explains and shows what we are/have been learning in our fabulous class.
Please take a look and don’t forget- if you have any questions please ask.
We change books every Wednesday
Please make sure your child brings their reading book to school everyday in their book bag so that we can listen to them read.
20 reads Challenge –
Make sure you listen to your child read regularly at home and record their reading on MarvellousMe. Each time they read with an adult at home will help them climb the ladder to 20 reads.
*Remember this can be anything that your child chooses to read.
PE –
Our PE sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday. Please make sure your child brings the appropriate PE kit for indoor and outdoor activity.
